ABOUT TOM Tom is a home improvement professional specializing in various types of interior remodeling. Many years of construction related experience go into every job. Tom has successfully built a home remodeling and home maintenance business almost exclusively through customer referrals. While much of his work is in the remodeling area, Tom also offers handyman and shop related services. Services range from small repairs to complete home remodeling projects. There was always an interest in the building field. Much of the basic knowledge was taugh by his father. At 12, Tom learned how to change outlets without turning the power off by watching his father. By 13, he nearly had his leg cut off with a circular saw (do not brace paneling up with your leg as the saw is cutting through it). As a teen, he would opt out of playing baseball with the neighborhood kids and spent hours in the garage teaching himself how to solder. There has always been a passion to build. His down to earth way creates a feeling of comfort with his customers and his creative talents continually surpass his customer's expectations. There is an attention to detail in everything he takes on. He is often contacted by his customers on many topics, even those out of his field. Tom offers suggestions and advice when ever possible in order to help the customer make better decisions on their purchases or contracted services. Tom would like to pass on his knowledge and advice to you, his reader. It is his hope that you'll find "At Home with Tom" both informative and enjoyable and that you'll return again. With being in business for 30 years, there is certainly an amount of knowledge and experience that can be shared. Home Ownership is not just about the return on the investment, it's about personalizing the space in your home to suit your taste and lifestyle of you and your family. It's a place for everyone to come home to, where they're comfortable and safe. It's a place for family gatherings, where memories are created. If there is a topic you'd like to see published, write. Your comments and questions are always welcome. Please contact At Home with Tom via e-mail at the following address:
